Vendor booths are available for the conference. The conference builds in ample networking/downtime as well as transition time to move between presentations. Vendor booths will be located in high traffic areas exposed to conference attendees so they can visit your booth during these times. All vendors will be listed (by logo and product/service description) on electronic and printed conference materials. Based on historical conference attendance, we anticipate between 600-800 attendees. Our largest attendee group is practicing physicians. Other attendees include physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, pharmacists, healthcare executives, researchers, and psychologists. Agency representation includes large health systems, Community Health Centers, private practices, universities, and government agencies.
Influence of Attendees
Many of the conference attendees are leaders in the field of the delivery of refugee healthcare within their respective geographic regions. Often they are viewed as experts in the field and are able influence decisions regarding which services are most appropriate for refugee patients.
Areas of Focus
Please keep in mind that refugee patients are like all other patients. They require traditional medical treatment and services for common medical conditions such as diabetes and hypertension. Additionally, focus areas such as language assistance, coordination of care, infectious diseases (hepatitis, HIV, etc.), tropical diseases, immunology (vaccines), and educational resources are of great interest for attendees.
